Message from the owner
Being born and raised in Beijing, I grew up surrounded by incredible cuisine, both at home and across the city’s diverse resultant scene. Although moving abroad was a breath of fresh air, I couldn’t help but feel something was missing from my life: the magnificent range of flavors, the fresh ingredients and the love and care my family put into each dish they prepared.
As a life-long gardener, I increasingly grew vegetables popular in China and used them to feed our growing family! Soon others began to take an interest in the simple, heartful style of food famous in Beijing. The one dish that stood out and was always a hit at family events and the holidays were dumplings.
And so this is what “Little Dumpling” is all about: sharing with the world the love and care my family puts into each meal.
